What We’re Looking For:

We’re a publisher of literary and visual arts focused on themes of nature, the outdoors, and the environment in Michigan. Broad interpretations, brave formats, and confluence of this theme and other topics are encouraged! However, it should be evident in your submission how the work is focused on these themes, as well as the seasonal specifics of the call for art. Work that does not address this theme cannot be considered for publication with us.

Peninsula Arts Magazine only accepts work not previously published in formal outlets, journals, blogs, and magazines. We do not exclude work that has been published independently, via the contributor’s personal website or social media, from our review.

Authors from outside the state are welcome to submit work related to time spent with nature in Michigan (we do not have a residency requirement) but our themes should be clearly reflected in your submission.
